If your tree requires a more advanced inspection, we can utilize our Rinntech® Resistograph. This minimally invasive tool drills a 1.5mm diameter hole up to 20” into a tree and provides a reading that can help determine if internal decay is present, so that trees aren’t unnecessarily or prematurely removed. Less invasive than a traditional increment borer and more accurate than sounding, this tool is useful in sites with previous tree failures that may be disease centers.
